A kid is a person not yet formed--she only has sum’her teeth.
She may knock ‘em out, but more will grow in.
This shoot is all about being srappy. Its about encouraging kids to fall, scratch a knee, and pick themselves up again.
To execute the idea, we worked with the NorCal branch of SkateDogs, an afterschool skateboarding program that teaches the fundamentals of skateboarding in a fun and safe environment.
As one of four shoots falling under the theme of Terrain, Summer Teeth approaches terrains of play as spaces of early discovery and confrontation.
